In Australia, parties need to be separated for at least 12 months and 1 day to apply for divorce.
If you have been married for less than two years and wish to apply for divorce, there are further requirements with which you must comply.

We can take away some of the stress which comes with involving the Courts, and help you achieve the level of protection needed by working with you, and, where appropriate, appearing on your behalf at Court. If the Police have taken out an Order on your behalf, we can also provide ongoing support and advice throughout the process to keep you informed.
