Christy has extensive experience in numerous areas of law with a primary focus on family law.
Her prior family law matters have included those relating to parenting and children, parental alienation, relocation, separation and divorce, property and finances, de facto and same sex relationships, and IVF and reproductive rights. Christy's experience also extends to matters of domestic and family violence, including Police Protection Orders, Domestic Violence Orders, Intervention Orders, Personal Safety Orders, and breaches thereof. She has appeared in the Federal Circuit Court and Family Court of Australia, the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, Victorian Civil & Administrative Tribunal and various Magistrates' Courts in family, civil and criminal matters.
Christy strives to resolve matters in such a way as to minimise litigation wherever possible. As involvement with a lawyer can be enormously stressful, Christy's goal is to reduce this stress and angst by managing your matter effectively, efficiently, carefully, and compassionately.
